In this video Steve mentions why businesses, him included, and the USA in certain places do not use cash and mandate the use of a debit/credit card.

Is it the cost of the individual for a card fee or the business for the counting out the cash at about $25 per hour?

I know what it is like, as years ago I worked at an amusement park in their ‘Cash Control department’ counting and verifying the cash and coins all during my shift and they had about 20 employees alone for that shift besides all the other employees in those park locations double counting it all.

There are different aspects of the non-use of cash and that is primarily the costs involved and the preventative nature if something bad happens.

So once we have the Q-card will we not be able to use the New USTN cash as the government made the decision that it is in the best interest and the cheaper cost overall for the handling of it?
