Many people ask: “Why do we keep hearing about new notes but never see proof?”
Kuwait already answered this in 1991.
When Kuwait was liberated:
- Banks reopened on March 24, 1991
- The pre-invasion exchange rate was restored immediately
- A new series of banknotes was introduced the same day
- Old valid notes were exchanged 1:1
- Invalid or counterfeit notes were rejected
Here’s the key part.
The public did NOT see the new notes in advance.
