As the end of the week nears, we see that Iraq is still at a deadlock to select their next prime minister. This deadlock only continues because of the suggested nomination of Nori al-Maliki for that position. As each day passes and these discussions continue, more and more members of the block are jumping ship and deciding that this guy Maliki is toxic. It is becoming more and more apparent it is time to ditch this guy.

We still haven’t gotten a president. We still haven’t gotten a prime minister…I told everybody this is going to be a major concern for me…the e*******s…if we did have them, it was going to be a pain in the a*s into selecting who’s going to be the prime minister…The good thing is this, even with all that’s happening with politics, Iraq is stable. Their economy… currency…Inflation…job growth is stable. So everything is looking good…The fact that they’re able to keep all these things stable for as long as they have really shows you just how far Iraq has come…This is a really good sign.
