Wells Fargo is the world’s 5th largest bank and needs to update to the QFS to be in compliance.
An associate tried to send an international bank wire online on Sat. 7 Mar. and it was internally denied and he was to check back later.
The associate tried again on Sunday morning and was denied again, thus he called Wells Fargo and they said they have been doing maintenance for their international bank wire system from Fri. 6 Mar. thru to Mon. 9 Mar. for the update.
Locally & domestically, Wells Fargo accepted the personal SSA payment automatically on Saturday and the ATM accepted deposits and withdrawals back to normal usage.
In the past it took about a full week for the international bank wires to be received elsewhere, but maybe now it will be within minutes or just hours.
So maybe this is a good sign that the QFS will be happening real soon.
