This will look very good, but when will it actually be and will we see it in our paychecks?
“The first week in April was when the general public would be notified to set up their QFS money accounts.”
Do we personally have to set up our ‘QFS money accounts’ or will we just be notified they are available to access and then go somewhere for verification?
April 1, 2026 is on Wednesday and maybe some employers pay their employees in the middle of the week or for a monthly salary on the 1st, but what will be the withholdings in it.
This can be easy for the employers to calculate all your withholdings and just stop them all or many of them as they pay to the government entities on a quarterly basis which the 1st quarter of 2026 ended on Tues. 31 March.
CPAs will have to be up to date on all this as to not put in the miscalculations for the employees and employers for this new QFS data. There should not be any violations imposed for now, but it should be settled by the end of April for all to know.
Many employers may just continue with the withholdings and you won’t see it for awhile to receive your full pay, but the government entities may just return the funds to the employers where they received it in April as the government cannot keep it any more.

You might see your full paycheck amount in the first full week of April or that first check that month, and maybe all the withholdings that your employer collected will be returned at that time or in a new check.
Now let’s look at someone making $52,000 per year and paid weekly should then receive a full $1,000 in that week’s paycheck with no withholdings maybe by Fri. 10 April.
No more; federal income tax, state income tax, SSA payments, Medicare payments, county taxes, city taxes and most anything else. Insurance payments way still be withheld for now. You might have your union payments or your share of your retirement pension payments withheld.
So your personal April bills will not include your mortgage, vehicle or any other loan payments, but they will include your regular utilities and rent payments if you do not own a home.
So what you thought you may only have for April would be about $200 left at the end of the month you may now have an extra $3,000 or so to spend.
You will have more for food, clothing and other miscellaneous items and splurge, but just get ready to spend as you will have the millions in your QFS Wallet for your backup and be fully shocked to see what’s in it.
