Remember when I called out @brian_armstrong back in January on how he was framing the market structure bill and blocking it and everyone jumped in to defend it like he was “protecting crypto from banks”?
Meanwhile, @MarshallHayner stepped in and backed it up with actual facts… and people brushed it off.
Fast forward, and now you’re watching the same narrative fall apart in real time. The Clarity Act gets stalled, and suddenly the same influencers and KOLs who were loud before are either quiet… or slowly walking it back.
We weren’t guessing. We were early.
Here’s the reality people are finally starting to see: banks are already in crypto, and they’re not afraid of DeFi. In fact, they want participation on-chain. The real resistance comes from platforms that act like banks, profit like banks… but don’t want to be regulated like banks.
That’s the conflict no one wanted to talk about.
Call it whatever you want, but this was always about control of the rails, not “protecting crypto.”

Know What You Hold and Who Holds It!
If this really is a simulation… and we’re living out the greatest story ever told… then there’s no way @brian_armstrong isn’t playing the role of Lex Luthor.
Not just because he looks the part, but because the playbook lines up.
While crypto was supposed to decentralize power, he built a gatekeeper.
While DeFi was supposed to remove middlemen, he positioned himself as one.
And now, when the rails are shifting toward true on-chain participation… suddenly the narrative becomes “protection.”
Same energy as Metropolis being “protected” while it’s quietly being controlled.
The irony?
Crypto was never meant to have a king.
But every story needs a villain… and every system reveals itself when power starts slipping.
