I saw this article from Zerohedge about what has been happening at the major banks. Let’s begin here loans drive deposits. One look at the earnings report across all the big banks reveals the financial system is fundamentally broken since deposits have been way up while loans have cratered. This is an economic impossibility if not for the banks raking in massive amounts of free cash directly from the Fed’s money printer. One look at this shows it is a s*****l of a lifetime yet no one bats an eye.
