Today has been a difficult day to say the least! I worked since the age of 13 (and before). I went to school, payed attention in school, got good grades. I went to college(s) got degrees and I have volunteered all over this country! The irony, I’m not eligible for Welfare because my Son is 18+ and he has a disability with his own check. His check pays for about a week in the hotel. We stay in the most economic places that exist. We eat one meal a day (and we split that) to save money. But, no matter what I do, I just can’t get a job! My applications just get overlooked! I’m always told, “You’re overqualified!” I even take my education off the application, but the application always requires a date of birth. Don’t we all deserve a job??? Don’t we all deserve to eat??? Don’t we all deserve a place to live??? I’ve been pounding the pavements for months!!! I walk everywhere because they repossessed my vehicle when I lost my job in the COVID. Oh, and I’m not eligible for anymore unemployment! My stimulus check went to housing, bills and food! I just don’t know anymore . . .
But the one thing I do know . . . God’s Word is true!!! You are the hands and feet of God! If you have a business and you need employees, please, by all means give your information to Patrick so he can forward it to me. Keep in mind, I no longer have a car and I just learned today there is no bus connecting me to the city. I need money for my room as well. They won’t let us stay AT THE CHEAPEST RATE unless we pay for 7 days upfront. If you would be so kind, please help anyway you can!!! When you do donate help, please send it to Patrick so he can forward it to me. I no longer have a working phone, it gets turned off tomorrow as well.
I know the Lord will send help because he is a promise keeper! Thank you for being the hands and feet of Jesus!!!
