“Once again, We Remember…” by Michael Murdock – 5.28.21

Once again, this weekend, we remember, so that THEY will never be forgotten.

When I was growing up, I never appreciated the meaning of Memorial Day. I remember Dad instilling in us the importance, but as I grew older, I saw others saying “hey have a great bbq this weekend” or “let’s jam to the beach”. They would never say “I’m off to help with FLAGS IN at a local cemetery” or “I’m off to stand and honor those in the parades who lost friends overseas in some conflict that we never should have been fighting in”. It was always about enjoying the freedom, but not realizing that freedom comes at a price.

Now that I’ve crossed 60, I realize that this weekend is not about the BBQs, not about the Hamburger Day celebration today, not about just having some time off from work…it’s about LIVES. It’s about PEOPLE. It’s about those who paid a heavy price so that the rest of us could sit on our butts (if we’re not working, but many of us are), and enjoy the freedoms that they sacrificed their lives to make sure we kept. I continue to educate those I encounter along my days in this life about that very thing, constantly so that when days like this come up, they do more than just BBQ or sit around, they get out and participate and give of their time.

This country with this newly installed President (because based on audits done and going, he lost his butt big-time and the election  was stolen), has lost much of the strength and drive of those who came before us. If we don’t get that back we will truly be lost and will no longer be a UNITED states of AMERICA, but rather a UNION OF SOCIALIST STATES OF AMERICA, a USSA instead of what RUSSIA used to be as the USSR or Union of Soviet Socialist Republics long ago.

My Brothers and Sisters who have served who are part of the IDC Family, I salute you and yours this weekend. If you have relatives or family who are serving, I THANK YOU & THEM for your SERVICE & them for their SERVICE to OUR COUNTRY, and I send your families love and blessings.

IF I had the ability to give every member of IDC a MILLION or MORE dollars this weekend, I would lovingly do so because believe me you all deserve it. WHEN the exchange happens and I have the ability to make some IDC lives better, I will be doing just that.
My prayers are with each of you in this time of remembrance, of memorial to those we’ve lost. NEVER EVER FORGET THEM! Some gave a little for us, others gave all they had, their lives, their fortunes and their sacred honor so that WE may live FREE ALWAYS.
God Bless you this day and always.

Michael Murdock, US NAVY VETERAN or $veteran on CASHAPP or Michael-Murdock-22 on VENMO, if you’d like to help me with gas or some food this coming week. Thanks in advance for any that wish to help out.
