A parliamentary bloc exposes corruption in trillions… and issues a statement
25th June, 2021
On Friday, the National Approach bloc revealed corruption in trillions of dinars in the financial and oil sectors, communications, customs and electricity, and confirms that following up on state revenues and expenditures and presenting its movement to public opinion will eliminate most corruption practices and pave the way for social justice
The head of the bloc, Ammar Tohme, said in a statement that NRT received a copy of it, today (June 25, 2021), that “day after day the suffering of the Iraqi citizen is exacerbated and the circle of grievances affecting him is expanding as a result of the increasing and underestimating financial and administrative corruption practices of the citizens’ pain and expanding with alliances that are rooted over time in the acquisition of The joints of the state in all its details
The statement added, “The mention of some resources in which corruption drains trillions of dinars annually from the people’s public funds to confirm this dangerous approach, which requires a unified position from the faithful to end its unjust effects,” and we show this with some examples
1- What is drained of money in the currency auction and selling the dollar is close to (four to five trillion dinars) that goes into the pockets of a selfish parasitic class without providing any development activity for the country
2- No less than (nine trillion dinars) from the border crossings’ revenues are wasted in continuous corruption practices over the past years, according to the statement of the current Minister of Finance to the British newspaper The Cardinal, given that the total dollar sales by the Central Bank annually range from (45 to 50) billion dollars and calculating The fees and taxes supposed to be collected from this amount shall not be less than what we mentioned
3- Revenues of mobile phone companies, according to the figures of the competent departments, range between (six to eight trillion dinars annually), and indicators show that their net profits from those revenues are no less than 80% of their total revenues. It is a very large amount that requires the state to establish a national company that obtains these profits And supply them to the public treasury instead of the acquisition of a few people on these huge profits
4- Cancellation of oil licensing rounds, which annually cost the dues of its foreign companies amounts ranging between (14-16) trillion dinars, as well as partnership contracts of the Kurdistan region with foreign oil companies whose dues amount to (40%) of the revenues of oil produced in the region and replacing them with contract formulas that achieve The highest benefit for Iraq, as the constitution stipulates through this
5- Amending the contracts of electricity companies with investors who represent economic fronts for influential parties and personalities, whose energy production costs are equivalent to four times the real prices
The statement explained, “The availability of a serious will to address these resources only and with pressure and conscious popular support will contribute to finding radical solutions to the suffering of millions of Iraqis and providing decent living opportunities for hundreds of thousands of graduates and unemployed youth,” without mentioning any other details LINK

They have the notes printed already and are yet to show the mechanism. That is what I see here, anyway.. They say everyone is supportive of this, so it appears.
Well if they know the advances that have been issued over the last 6 months for salaries will be retroactive and come out more valuable once the mechanism is clarified.
They have been speaking of the delete the zeros project a lot lately and have not differed from that. Thereby what we appear to be seeing is the roll out of the new small category notes. They’ll need them once the rate is clarified.!!.
The payments (advances) may be deducted from the new adjusted rate that ushers in the new notes.. imo The ploy to get them in under a a mask of Covid is definitively a motive to get them into the banks.
If I am not mistaken there are banks open today.. We shall see! Imo ~ MM
