“Watch their Actions” – Sun. PM TNT Thoughts/News 8-1-21

Maybe we’ll find out on Monday why banks and Treasury missed the target!!

Who said they did Annie? I said it before and will say it again, we were not necessarily going the same day they released the rate because our banks have different operation hours. Best we can is look for the confirmation Iraq did release and if they did, expect to go shortly thereafter.

Had you all read Tish’s article yet? Planning reveals the details of the “responsive” document and the reform and recovery plan tomorrow  … It states various representatives within the government will b there as well as “,,,as well as representatives of international organizations operating in Iraq…. AND, They are going to release payments to full-time employee’s salary for the month of July this evening, Sunday, 1-8-2021. … Interesting timing,

I’m of the mind that there wasn’t going to be an announcement but actions taken as a result of a change. Watch their actions that would coincide with the change

Erbil (Kurdistan 24) – Efforts continue, in the Kurdistan Region, to establish an advanced government bank called “Al-Watan”, which is directly linked to the Central Bank of Iraq. After obtaining the fundamental approvals, the bank will work according to an advanced electronic system, and one of the priorities of its work is to convert the financial system in the Kurdistan Region to the electronic method.

To deal with remittances and exchange accounts, in addition to another characteristic of the bank, which is that the advances and loans that are paid, by the Central Bank of Iraq, the government-owned Al-Watan Bank in the region is covered by these advances and loans.

For his part, the director of commercial banks in Erbil, Mouloud Saber, told Kurdistan 24: The purpose of opening the bank is to develop the banking sector in the region, so that citizens depend, in their banking dealings, on the advanced system in the bank, in addition to transferring the salaries of employees in the region. to the electronic payment system.

Saber added: The total capital of the bank will reach 250 billion Iraqi dinars, and that the bank, as an important branch of the Central Bank of Iraq, will provide important facilities to citizens, because the branch currently in the Central Bank of Iraq in the region is specialized only in banking affairs, related to Baghdad exclusively. ,

But when the government (Al-Watan) Bank is opened, all of Kurdistan’s 90 banks will be affiliated with Al-Watan Bank, and it can pay real estate and agricultural and industrial loans to citizens and employees, in addition to providing dollars to the currency market in the Kurdistan Region.
