Jordan announces the return of shipping to Iraq on a round-to-door system
The head of the Jordan and Amman Chambers of Industry, Engineer Fathi Al-Jaghbir, announced, on Saturday, the return of shipping to Iraq under the “round to role” system, that is, without an exchange between the two limits, starting on the 22nd of this month.

For his part, the head of the Syndicate of Owners of Clearance and Cargo Transport Companies, Dhaifallah Abu Aqoula, explained that “the decision that allows Jordanian trucks to enter directly into Iraqi territory, and the same for Iraqi trucks to enter the territory of the Kingdom, will reflect positively on the overall transportation system, the freight fleet and exports.”
Abu Aqoula said in a statement to the Jordan News Agency (Petra), that “the decision will reduce the time periods for the merchant and industrialist, and speed up the process of arrival of Jordanian goods to the Iraqi market, in addition to revitalizing the truck sector and accelerating the flow of goods passing through the transit route.” link
