The Ministry of Justice: Moves to recover Iraqi money and real estate in Jordan and Switzerland
On Saturday, the Ministry of Justice revealed diplomatic moves to restore Iraqi money and real estate in Jordan, Switzerland and other countries, while summarizing its role in preserving citizens’ properties in the liberated areas.
And the ministry’s spokesman, Ahmed Laibi, told the official agency – followed by “Nas” (October 30, 2021), that “the role of the Ministry of Justice in preserving citizens’ properties in the liberated areas was to transfer the records to safe areas during that period, and to refer to the records.” Central to conduct any sale or purchase of these properties, in addition to placing seizure signs on some of them until the ownership is proven.
Laibi added that “the Ministry of Justice organized a conference to recover the looted funds in mid-September under the supervision of the Minister of Justice, Judge Salar Abdul-Sattar Muhammad.

Special instructions for obtaining an international market license in Iraq
On Friday, the Ministry of Interior published special instructions for obtaining an international market permit.
According to the instructions published by the ministry’s website, which were reviewed by “Nass” (October 29, 2021), the applicant must have a local market license and possess an unexpired passport.
Following is the text of the instructions for granting an international market licence:
According to the directives of the Minister of Interior Othman Al-Ghanimi and based on the provisions of Article (47/First/D) of Traffic Law No. (8) of 2019 we issued the following instructions:
1- The form of the international driving licence should be in conformity with the specifications mentioned in the Vienna General Convention on Road Traffic for the year 1968 and signed by Iraq for the year 2017 and in the application of Article 47 of the International Road Traffic Signs K/O.
2- The applicant for an international driving license should have obtained a local driving license issued by the General Traffic Directorate in Baghdad and the governorates, and it should be valid to verify its authenticity.
3- To have a valid Iraqi passport.
4- The validity period of the international license shall be for one year only, according to the international agreement.
5- This leave may not be used inside Iraq.
6- Amounts and fees for the international license (granted for the first time) are collected based on Tables No. (1) and (2) attached to Traffic Law No. (8) for the year 2019.
7- Those wishing to obtain an international driving license are required to submit the original identification documents with photocopies, which are:
A- Local market holiday
B – an Iraqi passport
C- Civil status ID or unified card
H- Two (2) recent personal photos.
8- These instructions shall be implemented from the date of their ratification. link
India’s “LuLu” announces the imminent opening of the first “hypermarket” in Iraq
Lulu International Group of Shopping Malls announced the imminent opening of the first “hypermarket” in Iraq.
The Chairman and Managing Director of Lulu International Group, Yousef Ali, said in a press statement, “The group is focusing on expanding in the Saudi and Egyptian markets, indicating that the first hypermarket in Iraq will be opened soon.”
He added that “the group is looking forward to a strong presence in Iraq, where the first “hypermarket” will be opened within 6 to 8 months.”
He indicated that his company will raise the number of its branches in Saudi Arabia from 14 to 25 large commercial centers within 3 years, and that the group has a strategic plan in Egypt, which includes the opening of 10 to 15 large commercial centers during the next two years, including 3 centers that will be opened by mid-2022. .
