The Coordination Framework deal and Al-Sadr are frozen pending the ratification of the elections

The Shiite house is boycotting the marathon of negotiations in Baghdad, delaying the resolution of the largest bloc, and the news of Najaf that Muqtada al-Sadr, the leader of the Sadrist movement, has postponed the confrontation of al-Hanana, and no longer wants to meet his opponents in the coordinating framework, and is studying an alternative plan in the coming days.

As for the framework, it moves in two directions, as it sets one foot in the negotiations and another in the Federal Court, while sources report that the framework forces were divided into two groups, the first pressing for appeals to prolong the period of ratification of the election results, and the second preoccupied with alliances.

The State of Law coalition headed by Nuri al-Maliki says that it is close to forming a “political institution” between the framework and friendly poles, to crystallize a “mixture” that brings together winners and losers.

But even this mixture is not expected to give a full mandate to a particular party to lead the stage, as long as the Sadrist movement is outside it.

Political experts believe that this crisis of the Shiite poles will not end except with the intervention of those who organize the competition, and propose a comprehensive deal that protects the political process from collapse, and there is no one to play such a role except the Najaf reference, which they expect to intervene soon after the two parties exhaust their cards.   link

State Of Law Warns Of An Upcoming “Popular Explosion” Due To Rising Food Prices

leader of the State of Law coalition, Muhammad Saadoun Al-Sihoud, warned, on Thursday, of the dangers of a popular explosion throughout the country as a result of the bitter economic conditions.

Chihod said in a statement to “Al-Maalouma”, that “the continued rise in food prices in the local markets portends the outbreak of a popular explosion that may not have negative consequences,” noting that “the rise in poverty and unemployment rates as a result of the continued rise in the exchange rate of the dollar against the Iraqi dinar, which ignites more turmoil.” Social”.

He added, “The government is unable to develop solutions to the problems by raising the prices of foodstuffs, especially flour, oil, rice and other basic materials,” noting that “millions of the poor are not able to buy a meal in one day.”

The former MP from Al-Muthanna Governorate, Uday Al-Shaalan, had warned earlier of the outbreak of a massive popular revolution due to the economic and social conditions, accusing the government of failing to manage the economic and reform file in the country.  link
