“My Question for Anyone Who Might Know” by GK – 1.9.22
Hi everyone,
Just thought I would give a quick response to this after talking the our Corporate Attorney’s. As I also had 2 Layaways with Sterling Currency, I asked them to give me their opinion. Based on the paperwork the read, here are their thoughts:
1. Nobody will really know what restitution will be until it is completely settled.
2. Chances are good I/we will only receive a portion of the amount paid to them, as they over-sold the currency they were offering.
3. Since they did not have all purchased currency (specifically the lay-aways) on hand, they can not provide them.
4. Banks will not assist or offer any payment on currency not in your hands.
That is just what I was told 2 hours ago. Take it or leave it.
