…budgets can be considered to be an integral part of the society’s needs to function and with out a budget in place it can be considered to be an economic emergency, that hurts the citizens, therefore, the caretaker government has the powers to satisfy their needs. The 2022 budget apparently fits the circumstances in the present time, as an emergency issue. That budget could be on the table this next week…

They’re going to change the exchange rate.’ No. Because it’s more than just how much money the country generates…this is what helps determine a currency’s exchange rate – Demand and Supply. If people feel like Iraq is going in a great direction they will invest in their currency. They seem to be on a path going in the right direction but they’re moving at the pace of a snail.
– Speculation plays a role… Political and Economic Conditions – …95% of their annual budget for the government comes from oil sales. That’s not good. That’s not stable...the good thing…they’re generating so much money from oil sales that they can invest in the private sector… – Political – they’re in political turmoil. They can’t even form a government… – Future Prospects – …We know the future prospects of Iraq look very good…[but] no, the fact that they’re…generating a ton of money from oil isn’t the only determining factor in the Iraqi dinar exchange rate. They got most of the pieces there.

… it occurs to me that some people forget what a big deal Ramadan is, and also when it is. Ramadan isn’t observed on the same dates everywhere – for Iraq this year, it is April 1 to May 1…Traditionally, nothing major happens during Ramadan…however… Despite the holiday, there are things being done over in the desert…stay tuned!
