Reading Tish’s article they are going to vote to authorize the caretaker government to send the budget in order to address issues for the people. Releasing the rate would be part of the task. AND not at the end of Ramadan. Expecting it any moment now.

But yada, the CBI changes the currency rate, and it is very debatable if voting in a new budget is required before the rate is changed.

I am pretty sure the rate in the 2022 budget was approved by the CBI, since neither the GOI or the parliament can make that decision.

The 2022 budget was worked out some time ago. Since that date, Iraq has been inundated with new and maybe unexpected oil money. Surely, not even Iraq, can see that as a negative. If Iraq is the lynchpin for the gcr; this wave of new money has to help bolster the value of the Iraqi dinar. Why isn’t this a good thing? Who buys that after all this time, even the Iraqis have to see that they have to revalue their currency….Who buys that after all this time, even the Iraqis can’t stop the obvious conclusion that the Iraqi dinar has to be revalued way the heck up?

We all know the Dinar is undervalued and we know an RV is coming. What we don’t know is when the RV is going to happen. It may happen in April or maybe August. We just don’t know…Who knows besides the CBI, the President, the US Treasury, and the PM?

The CBI does pull the trigger but as tony has stated in the past, the CBI put the rate INTO the new budget like a raw egg yoke waiting for the budget to be passed..Putting it there meant that there would have been a new government. Well we see there was intent on a new government until SCOI changed to vote requirement to 2/3rd. That gave Maliki’s Third party to block it all. Now we are past parliament’s legitimacy, now the caretaker government, i e “emergency government, can now pass the budget.
