“Al-Maliki’s coalition “questions” the legitimacy of the Al-Kazemi government and “reserves” the Food Security Law“
They can and will do whatever is necessary to run the government until further notice…they have a government. Until there is a replacement. There is no vacuum left in place of the government. The only ones hollering are Maliki and his cronies because they are being left out. Since yesterday it appears everyone else is on board. imo
“Parliamentary Finance: The Food Security Law is not a substitute for the 2022 budget”
…it is like they have allowed the emergency food law to be a rider if you will. It is in place for the citizens and once they seat the government when ever that may be, the 2022 budget kicks in. They are synonymous. Nothing changes…Imo, the emergency food law, the 2022 budget law…are rate sensitive.
Having the HCL, Article 140 being talked about…and the citizens entitlements we should all be very happy that the citizens are about to get what they deserve. With having purchasing power ( Protection ) the citizens will have consistent payments and they’ll be able to afford many things and food is one of them… imo HCL is all about money from oil and other assets. That will require an international calculation for the new exchange rate. That imo is why it is an important law…imo
Bruce (The Big Call)
we know that Iraq was supposed to put out their new rates today and also seat their new Parliament and new Prime Minister – that did NOT happen…The good news is that on Saturday Iraq will seat their government and their new Prime Minister and on Sunday…the 15th they will put out their new Iraqi Dinar rates and increase their in country rate to around $6…ours will be much higher – and they will put out that rate on Sunday...the 15th…is the day that the UN operational rates change for all currencies…what I’ve been told from redemption center staff is next week should be a great week for us…
They’re [Iraq] is gonna have a lot of extra money this year. It’s projected that they’ll have 26 billion extra dollars. There’s a lot they could do with this. Man I can only imagine what Iraq is going to be like in the future as long as they can see from fighting with one another.
“America announces the allocation of 140 million dollars to support businesses in Iraq“
This article has some good, bad & interesting imo The good: Money to stimulate the private sector. The bad: USD instead of their own currency. The interesting: We hear that Iraq does not want to peg to the USD because it is so weak, yet they flood Iraq in USD. Also, if Iraq were to stay pegged to the USD & released their monetary reform, one would think that in itself would strengthen the USD.
I was told the vote was pushed back until Monday and to expect great things out of Iraq on Monday. I was told there was a few last minute negotiations to finish up for seating the government. Iraqi sources said this morning to “not panic” …we all hope they do not kick the can any further than that.
…The UN has paperwork filed…the IMF and many worldwide banking agencies are leaning on Iraq and telling them to finish changing the value.
[how long will we have to exchange?]
I am still hearing we will have 10 days to set appointments and 30 days to exchange.
“MAHMOUD DAGHER EXPLAINS THE ECONOMIC FEASIBILITY OF REMOVING ZEROS FROM THE LOCAL CURRENCY“
As I said we would see more articles on promoting the project to delete the zeros, which we all know must take place prior to or around the same time of the reinstatement.
“Parliament postpones the session of the Food Security Law”
…We are really close that’s all I can tell you…
IMO, we await Sadr to make his move to move forward to get the government formed…there is a seated Parliament but a Caretaker government...the Caretaker government is not fully authorized to carry out all functions and thus can only enact emergency measures to keep the country safe and running. They are NOT authorized to send the budget…
