In Vee’s response to you he mentions Aaron Russo’s 2005 “America: Freedom to Fascism”, which dealt with the issue of whether or not the income tax actually applies to we the people (it doesn’t), and in addition to Schiff (who was subsequently illegally jailed and held to his d***h), Dave Champion is also in the movie, and Dave, probably one of, if not THE most knowledgeable expert on the income tax, has written a book CLEARLY laying out WHO the IRS has jurisdiction over, and WHERE they actually have jurisdiction. The book, ‘Income Tax: Shattering the Myths” will give you everything you need to clearly understand the relationship (or lack thereof, actually) between you and the IRS.
26 USC Ch 24, 3401 (Definitions), and 3402, clearly spell out WHO the income tax applies to, which is:
“an officer, employee, or elected official of the United States, a State, or any political subdivision thereof, or the District of Columbia, or any agency or instrumentality of any one or more of the foregoing. The term “employee” also includes an officer of a corporation.”
Dave has not paid income tax since the 80s sometime, and has beat the IRS several times, while many others, after seeing ‘America: Freedom to Fascism’, did the serious research and terminated all w-4s and presumptions of tax liability.
