Crude oil prices are rising, and Brent crude is above $93

12th September, 2022

Crude oil prices rose today, Monday, September 12, 2022, in volatile trading, amid fears of tight supplies

Fears of Corona restrictions in China and the possibility of further interest rate increases in the United States and Europe limited the expansion of black crude’s gains despite expectations of global demand for fuel

By 08:06 AM GMT (11:06 AM Mecca Al-Mukarramah), the price of the futures contract for the benchmark Brent crude – for November delivery – rose by 0.24%, recording $93.06 dollars per barrel

The price of West Texas Intermediate crude futures – October delivery – also increased by 0.03% to $ 86.85 a barrel, according to data seen by the specialized energy platform

Crude oil prices ended their trading on Friday, September 9, with a rise of more than 4%, supported by Russia’s threats to stop oil and gas exports to some buyers

Both Brent crude and West Texas Intermediate recorded weekly losses of 0.2% and 0.1%, respectively
