Hope everyone had a great weekend. Mine was going well until someone decided to tailgate a truck leaving a stop sign in a parking lot without looking both ways first and pulled directly in the path of my car. I was unable to stop in time and collided with his car. Thankfully NO ONE was injured. In discussing with the Police on the scene, they said to him “If you are leaving a parking lot or private road, you need to LOOK BOTH WAYS and make sure there is NO TRAFFIC COMING, before you move your car onto the road, ESPECIALLY if you have your kids in the car with you”.
So my car is in the shop and yes the insurance will cover the repairs, but I am thankful to be alive. My guess is that was God telling me that I’m moving a bit too fast at times and I need also to slow down though I did have a green light and was doing 40 in a 45 zone so I was below the posted speed limit. I have to come up with the deductible money when the repairs are completed.
I hope and pray that all of you are alive, well, and that none of you have had a similar fate befall you this past weekend.
No updates on the exchanges as of this time. Many prayers for any and all who are on the East Coast in the path of the impending storms. Please be careful out there and don’t be deceived if you are in the path of the eye of the storm, things still swirl around and fly through the air, so stay inside, keep your heads down and know that God is watching over you all.
