If it makes you feel any better, my 94 year-old dad got his SS today (Sat Dec 31) and it has the 8.7%, or whatever it is, raise PLUS a second additional deposit from SSA for 50% of his new normal deposit, so he got the cost of living raise, then that was calculated to a 150% deposit for January …. so, looks like you might be getting yours, since my dad got his ….
