From Shoeless Joe to CEO

I’m noticing that my point of view is changing. It’s having immense impacts downstream.
If I wait till the Reval to begin assuming the context of a CEO, I may find myself floundering and confused from the impact of inordinate wealth.
I feel moved to start acting from the context now. Whatever that looks like.
I’ll give you an example. I have a number of medical complaints. Ordinarily I’d b---h and moan about them. But, coming from the context of a CEO, on whose desk … the …. buck ….. stops…… I approach the matter differently now.
I approach it as a situation that needs to be handled. I put the solutions in place. Next problem. Skip the moans and groans.
I’m playing for bigger stakes than whatever moans and groans are designed to bring.

It helps to be totally surrendered to the Mother. If the Mother wants me to have medical problems, then so be it. I remain convinced that she wants me to experience life from beginning to end before med beds draw the curtain on the experience.
It also helps to have 2300 pages of instructions (readings), all neatly arranged, telling me exactly what’s expected of me as a CEO. And why.
Nevertheless the task of handling large flows of money will demand some adjustment. If I can enter into the context of CEO now, I’d be doing myself a favor.
Taking it up means being willing to assume the responsibilities of a leader while sidestepping any attempts to c-----t or subvert me.
It means considering the ripple-down impact of my words and deeds. Every time a person retells a story, they may add their spin. By the time the story reaches the frontlines, well, I have to consider what it may sound like, before I speak.
It means realizing that criticizing others will lose me the very allies I need to get the job done. I’ll need help to get the task I envision done. That help can’t be forced; it has to be won.
Sorting out the mess we created by forcing others to do our will may be the first thing we collectively need to turn our attention to after the d--------e is gone. All the more reason to make the transition from Shoeless Joe to CEO now.
