Signs are signaling we’re heading into a recession, says former Wall Street financial analyst John Rubino. But later on, a total loss of faith in the currency is what he’s expecting. The U.S. government cannot afford rates to remain high. Increasing debt and devaluation of the currency is inevitable, he says. People will start to lose confidence in the currency and the problem will compound on itself. “We’re making the decisions now that will lead to that d---h spiral,” he says, “once it starts I don’t see how to stop something like that.”
