Some may think this Treasury Direct Account is just a farce and it does not exist. Yet if you know how to access it you might just find out it works as it is there.
This is an actual government website: https://www.treasurydirect.gov/ with videos to watch and forms to fill out along with making your own account.
People ask how to access their Treasury Direct Account and here is one way to try, yet the ‘FS Form 5144’ is to be notarized and sent back to just receive a ‘TreasuryDirect ® Account Authorization’ Number to login.
A while back I did ‘Open a New Account’ to see how it worked, yet while trying to transfer funds from my credit union account to the T*A it wouldn’t work as a day later it was denied, as I guess I was not to access my T*A as my SSN was linked directly to it.
If you click on ‘Forms’ and then ‘Treasury Marketable Securities Forms and Forms for Institutions’ you can see a whole list of different forms from the US Treasury or their affiliate.
Yet while it may take a couple weeks to get the T*A Number, most likely a letter and then your SSN, and that the US Treasury and IRS are too busy doing other things there has to be another way to access our account sooner and with the masses to be doing this without their T*A Number being sent in the mail or sent via email and lost or stolen.

One video does show the person having over $1,000,000 in it.
Maybe there are people out there that can make the shortcuts while using this site and let us know or we just wait and go to our own bank or credit union to get access when the time comes.
The QFS might have something similar and close this out as it has too many loopholes and backdoors with not enough security so even this has been transitioned into the QFS.
