Member: Welcome to the weekend…..
Member: From that old Bloomberg Video-“There’s a certain point….At midnight on some Saturday night European Central time….they are going to announce it…here’s the menu of the new exchange rates and have a nice Monday.,, Is tonight that night?
Mark does a short news first….then 30 minutes is the CBD Guru’s and then Mark with the rest of the news
MZ: “Parliamentary Finance completes voting on the paragraphs of the budget law” They are passing and approving sections of the budget law before the pass the whole thing-which I am being told is still expected tomorrow.. Mostly theatre right now imo…..they told us we would see this over the weekend and we are indeed seeing it.
Member: As they said before there is a caveat they can change the rate any time after the budget is approved, is it possible no new rate will be announced?
Member: Anything is possible
MZ: Expectations are for an early vote tomorrow to officially pass the budget . We are hopeful with the HCL in the budget that we will quickly see a rate change . There is a mechanism in the budget to quickly adjust the value. This is a very important thing that tells us they are planning to change the value. .
MZ: On the bond side I continue tp get more and more people with expectations of full closings and full funding of bond deals on the first 2 days of this week. There are a number of closing scheduled…..This is a key piece. I don’t know what that means for us on timing….but all eyes are on these transactions right now.
MZ: Will they do it? Is this it? Will they finally cross the finish line? This tells us historic big bucks are moving and things are imminent .
MZ: Redemption center folks are still on call….and on stand-by. I am hoping and praying we are about to cross the finish line.
Member: does the market need to fall for us to get our money?
Member: we all know that a crash is inevitable, it will happen!
Member: I got an email from my bank (US Bank) that said no transactions, including Zelle, auto-pay, etc will be processed on the 28th due to system updates.
Member: We are all so tired ….praying right there with you Mark!!
Member: Anticipation fatigue is real…….God bless those bond and RC folks …….they must be exhausted.
Member: RV is the one day in history where the “last shall be first”in all known history. Hang tight
Member: Have a great weekend everyone…..hopefully our last weekend broke!
