Member: Wow- this week is flying…..hoping today is the day we are waiting for….Come on Iraq- Pass that budget!!!.
Member: Guess the vote will be 12:00 EST?
Member: Finance committee votes at 6pm!!!
MZ: They are at this point expecting the vote to be at noon est……All eyes are on that one. This is one of the last steps.
MZ: I do not expect a rate in the budget. But, there is a mechanism in the budget for them to change the rate. And I would not be surprised to see the new rate passed very close on the budgets heels. Based on the chatter coming out of Iraq this makes sense.
Member: if Iraq announces new rate, I wonder how long can it be held off the forex?

Member: Militia Man had a great piece last night!!
MZ: “Zimbabwe eases dollar curbs, lifts rates to boost local currency” This is from Bloomberg. What they are doing is similar to what Iraq did. They are now auctioning off foreign currency. So that it is off the streets. Zimbabwe is laying the groundwork similar to what Iraq did. They have a hybrid of a gold standard now with their gold coins…..to me that is a clear sign as to what is coming in Zimbabwe.
Member: That’s good news about Zimbabwe!!
MZ: “Iran’s return would fill a Russian shaped hole in oil supplies” Iran is becoming a regional hub in Russian gas. Russia is k-----g it right now on the global economic world. Sanctions are broken and everyone is getting alternate payment options.
MZ: ”Economists discuss BRICS currency prospect of becoming global currency”
Member: If Iraq goes here in the next couple of days, I wondere if we will get paid in fiat or do all the dominoes will fall and we get new currency?
Member: US bank merged with Union Bank here in CA, US bank. grabbed my son’s SSI check. US bank in fine print states they have no FDIC insurance and they are not resonsiblr to cover any losses.

Member: Wish we knew whether the budget was passed or not.
Member: Phase One: Pass Budget; Phase Two: CBI Sets Rate; Phase Three: FOREX Publishes Rate; Phase Four: IQD RV Announced ? Phase Five: Happy Days Are Here Again
Member: Nadar said it was passed. did you all see that
Member: Goldilocks said it wasn’t yet.

Member: the budget might have been passed but still needs to be signed. could sign today, tomorrow or up to 15 days, after that I think it becomes law!
Member: Budget is not quite done, should be finished tomorrow, hopefully it gets in the Saturday gazette
Member: The $64,000 question now is when does the CBI announce the RV or RI?
MZ: Lots happening today. Did it pass or didn’t it pass??? This is what I’m hearing from Iraq. This was explained to me from an International attorney.
MZ: Think of it as a closing on a house and it happened late in the day. You sign all the paperwork….everyone is dotting I’s and crossing t’s until say 5:30 in the evening. You done everything you need to do…..but, you have to wait until the clerk of courts is open the next day to hand off the paperwork and dget a stamp on it.
MZ: I am told that is where we are at on the budget. It’s done but will not be official until their judicial system opens tomorrow morning . ….It’s done and passed and we will get all the official news tomorrow.
Member: After Sudani signs budget, how long do we anticipate a rate to be announced, then how long after that for it to go live on Forex?
Member: so what happens next?
MZ: As explained to me from folks over there in finance….they are waiting for markets to stabilize and they believe this could happen in short order. Is it hours? Is it days? Is it longer? We don’t know. It may be 24-48 hours before we know.
MZ: My understanding is with the passing of the budget the US government fingers will finally be out of the Iraqi pocketbook. And once they get it legally stamped they can move forward

MZ: I am hearing a lot from Reno and other areas that they have expectations of this thing moving forward over the next 24 hours or so. I am hopeful as well.
MZ: We are getting a lot of reports that bond folks have been given very “hopeful Promises” and they could possibly start processing over night. Most of my bond contacts are in Europe with a handful here in the US. It will be tomorrow before I have a good update from the bond side.
MZ: I am expecting a very “breakneck week” …I am finally letting myself be excited.
Member: Have the Indian Nations been paid already?
MZ: I have reached out …and cannot found any tribal elders of leaders who have dollars yet….so for me….that one is hopeful but not accurate yet. Maybe I will get that information tonight…If I do…I will truth it, tweet it and telegram it. For now consider it a hopeful rumor.
Member: People-just be happy that it is happening and what ever the rate is settled on, it’s going to be a Lot more than you paid for it…Be Grateful for the opportunity.
