Most of the poor demand has to do with high mortgage rates, but the lack of supply is also keeping home prices elevated, and preventing the housing crash from playing out.

We also delve into home builder stocks, and where they are going to move in the coming months, if shorting home builders is a good bet or too risky. We explain the pros and cons with this trade, and what the big money is betting on.
Lastly we also cover the Federal Reserve’s plan for rate hikes, with the next FOMC meeting taking place this coming week and many people claiming it’s the end of the monetary cycle, the end of the Fed’s rate hikes, we give a contrarian argument for why it’s likely we’ll see future hikes.
