Hi everyone, I would like to read more in depth information on the Vietnamese Dong and it’s revaluation.
It seems to be a subject only lightly touched upon.
We’ve read rates quoted from $4 down to 47 cents. Maybe even equivalent to Iraq’s final rate of $3.81.
Then, we read that the rate will be negotiable.
Personally, I am a lousy negotiator. And, I wouldn’t know where to begin. Is there a maximum amount we can ask for, and what are the requirements, i.e. humanitarian funding.
A little knowledgeable assistance would be helpful. Every grateful bunch of us are lurking. I know very little about Vietnam and their politics or their financial leanings regarding the revaluation.
Are they not intending to change the rate of the Dong fairly soon, as Iraq has finally come to realizing their Dinar rate? I believe it was mentioned some time ago, the two would change around the same time.

Some focus on rates, timing and possible negotiation information would be very much appreciated.
