The heat wave in Vietnam is affecting Iraq’s tea plantation

The General Company for Foodstuff Trade in the Ministry of Trade discussed with the joint Iraqi-Vietnamese company for the production of tea the production position after the heat wave and drought that hit Vietnam.
A statement by the ministry, which {Euphrates News} received a copy of, stated that the general manager of the company, Lama Hashim Al-Moussawi, confirmed during her chairing a meeting via videoconference with representatives of the joint Iraqi-Vietnamese company for the production and marketing of tea {Fudati} to follow up on the progress of work there.

Al-Moussawi indicated during the meeting to “the need to conduct the necessary treatments to reduce the damage to the tea plant and put forward proposals and ideas to change the reality of the farm, including sending a specialized team from her company that includes a group of agricultural engineers to improve production, follow-up on the crop and increase its quantities in coordination between the departments of import, quality control and financial affairs.” “.
And she emphasized “the need to assign a Vietnamese company specialized in auditing accounts to prepare financial reports and indicate the farm’s financial position regarding the first half of 2023 to evaluate its work during the first six months of the year.” LINK
