The United States Department Of Treasury is sounding the alarm, warning that the country will run out of money and default on its debt by the end of 2023. Secretary Janet Yallen urged that the state does not have sufficient resources to satisfy the government’s obligations. Recent information from a survey revealed that 80 percent of the population has run out of savings, while credit card debt just hit the billion dollar mark. Excess savings have steadily declined from peak levels early last year. There are also signs of rising delinquencies in credit cards and auto loans. All things considered, we are presented by a haunting image of desolation and depression hitting the United States as the year comes to an end.
