I’ve been reading the Chronicles for some time now & really appreciate the insight.
However I’m confused concerning the restitution and social security increase.
To put it simply:
I understand the Three Restitution payments (originally just a one-time lump sum payment) for those of us 61 and older, (originally believed to start in October this year), will now commence in January 2024 and should be paid out in full by the end of March.
If this schedule holds, do you know how will it proceed?
Will we:
*get some kind of notice?
*be required to appear at a redemption center/bank for a quantum I.D.?
*or will these three payments just automatically show up in our account along with our regular social security payments? (also scheduled to increase beginning in January)

Also, do you have a definite list of what’s included in the financial restitution? I’ve heard a number of things reported that have changed depending on the source, (i.e. property taxes, income taxes, CC interest, birth certificates, divorce certificates, home loans, etc.)
I’m led to believe the amounts will be staggering, but I’m curious where the funds are being restored from.
Two final questions:
**What is a “Humanitarian Project”?
**And how does it affect someone who is living on SS and SNAP benefits?
I thank ye kindly for your patience and assistance in furthering my understanding of what is transpiring.
Kindest regards,
William
