Thanks to Christy, Texastreeman, Navigator, and blueray for your posts. I thought I understood the NDA process until you kindly addressed the issue.
My understanding was that the NDA applies not to currency exchanges such as our dinar, dong, etc. but only to the Zim bond redemptions because of the complexity of the redemptions, large amounts, and various rates and projects.
I have signed and required NDA’s before so I have no problem with them on the Zim transaction. But we’ve all likely traveled to other countries and exchanged our leftover currencies when we returned home. Never in my experience has an NDA been required for currency exchanges!
I’d like to ask someone who is really in the know (if there is such a person) to clarify for us the issue of which transactions the NDA’s apply. It certainly could put some already overstressed minds at ease…or not.
In the alternative, I have added the question to my list of questions to ask on the phone when making my appointment. Best of luck to all of you.
