The monetary authorities have now debased the dollar.
This will push inflation higher.
Which will push bond yields higher.
The consequence of a U.S. debt trap now playing out.
This is precisely why foreigners are selling dollars.
It’s going to get ugly real fast.

The US IS FOR SALE (the coming debt for equity swap.)
Regarding our current account problem. It’s not as simple as us buying our own bonds. Assuming we do this, unless we print every single dollar to achieve that end, some money will have to come out of equities. Therefore, we still need foreign investment, and will entice money back to keep things halfway livable by encouraging FDIs and stock investments by foreign nations.
The US is doing a convert-deal with other nations as we speak. And if successfully e------d, can hamper China if they chose to remain closed to outside money. If not successful.. can become a d---h spiral trade for the US.
