When do we get notified? The latest information has been all over the place…but I can tell you the latest information that I believe is reliable is saying we will receive notifications sometime Tuesday…That would be the 20th…And that would be great. Then we probably will be setting our appointments, more than likely, for Wednesday, with some possibility of Tuesday afternoon…

Question: Do you think the rate is going to float?
MarkZ: I do not. But if there is – I was told the float would be very managed and slow…

Question:
“As far as the training videos, are there any more subjects remaining with the RI and monetary reform that the Iraqi have not seen?”
Yes. Right now they’re teaching them about the float. They hadn’t seen that up until two days ago.
Question:
“How long do you think the US Treasury will be in Iraq? Are they staying to see the finish?”
IMO yes.
Question:
“What are you looking for next?”
I’m looking for Sudani to come out and show the Iraqi citizens their new currency, their lower notes in whatever fashion that he’ll take.

The c-----t are going to get exposed. Paying double and or to f--e people is not going to fly with the new systems in place. Skimming off the top is going to have to stop. I would s-----t it will quickly too…
The Untied States Treasury has a floor at the Central bank, a whole one. They’re not going away. The smuggling of hard currency is about to get a r--e awakening…That cash cow people were sapping into that was in the billions of dollars auctions, looks like it’s going to be going away as we know it…All that is going to dry up fast.

1310…1160…1400 never worked. They just come out with number and give it to us and sometime you wake up and they take 1310 and sometime you can wake up and they tell you 1160 and sometime 1400…Don’t tell me it worked because I know in my heart it’s not 1310. It never worked for 21 years. It made the people poor. It made the economy bad. If it’s going to stay like that the next couple of years it’s going to make the economy worse. They’re going to have to change it.

“Seems like there’s some good news & some so not good. I have the feeling we aren’t close, by a long s--t.”
I pointed out a few months ago that Iraq was ending the currency auction at the end of this year. Nothing is going to happen with the dinar until after that and they begin to diversify their economy.

Question:
“I feel the RV will happen perhaps in a few months rather than years. Do you anticipate the exchange rate will be close to the same no matter which bank or exchange entity?”
The rate is the rate. If a bank charges a percentage to exchange that’s on the bank. You’re going to have to shop. No body knows...There’s no way to know what banks will charge to exchange but I’m pretty sure they’ll be competitive.
