1971 happened without a world war. Despite what many believe, lessons have been learned from the 20th century.
The theme of this year’s bi-annual Commonwealth heads of government summit, taking place concurrently with the BRICS summit, is making the Commonwealth into a Common Wealth. Very apt.
Is the Commonwealth going to win the PR war? And where will it come in the monetary war?
My hypothesis is that the monetary reset will take place Oct to Jan, while the US is preoccupied with e******n squabbling and its fallout. The court of public opinion will blame the reset and corresponding market earthquakes on polarisation within US society, not on the BRICS+.
