This is very true. A small example of how the depletion and frittering of energy and natural resources is celebrated in many quarters as some sort of growth.

Gold shorts would be wise to throw in the towel now and cut their losses before they need to declare bankruptcy.
Flooding the world with paper derivative commodities will of course suppress prices well below true value, and defraud global south commodity producers. Wall Street hangers-on defend this as just the way it is, but it is anything but normal or acceptable.
This is happening now, but until it reaches a critical point, visibility is limited. However, when the vaults have been sufficiently emptied, the derivatives structure will be seen to collapse very visibly and true physical pricing will suddenly take over.
This could be the simplest initial system announced by BRICS++ as a first step at the Kazan summit. However, it would still have huge ramifications since the total market cap of #gold would need to expand to correspond with other commodities, such as oil.
