Sunday and Monday’s BRICS leaders’ summit in Rio will be covered closely by @Bannons_WarRoom, who is convinced it will be a something burger with regards to #gold.
The US is not implementing Basel III domestically today. It has been delayed, while the new Vice Chair for Supervision, Michelle Bowman, seeks a consensual implementation of Basel IV (aka Basel III Endgame, the final rule).
But we have the big Fed banking conference on 22nd July to look forward to. Clarity will probably emerge from that.
