BREAKING NEWS: CHINA TIGHTENS RARE EARTH RULES… EXTENDING CONTROLS TO IMPORTED MINERALS

Elements vs. Financial Assets

“Under new guidelines, producers must report data on the flow of strategic materials, including those coming from abroad for refining…”

With the news out of China tightening its grip on rare earths…

@LukeGromen and I recently dug into this issue:

The U.S. dollar and the military power behind it are increasingly dependent on Chinese supply chains.

As Luke put it: “What actually backs the dollar? Chinese resources.”

In this video, you will also see that Steve Jobs warned of this issue DECADES ago.

Rare earths are just the start.

In our full conversation, Luke explains why Washington dismissed gold as a “pet rock,” how offshoring hollowed out America’s industrial base, and why the dollar’s foundation is weaker than most realize.

Watch:

Margin borrowing just hit an all-time high. For the first time ever, U.S. margin debt has blown past $1 TRILLION. Pair that with the rise of “buy now, pay later” (which I warned about years ago)… And you see the truth: We live in a rented world. Serfdom.

The Syrian pound has lost over 99% of its value since 2011. Another fiat currency example.

BREAKING NEWS: UNITED STATES HOMEBUYERS BACKED OUT OF TRANSACTIONS AT A RECORD PACE LAST MONTH

That is not good.

“Roughly 58,000 U.S. home-purchase agreements were canceled in July, equal to 15.3% of homes that went under contract last month, according to a new report from Redfin…”

Chinese households have piled up over $22 trillion in savings. Chinese insurers control another $4.5–5.3 trillion in assets. Gold is a big piece on the chess board… Important metrics to follow.

I can’t help but laugh when so-called “experts” sneer that producing elements is “toxic.” That spin is pathetic. The East’s dominance in mining isn’t a talking point; it’s reality. It’s exactly why the West is now scrambling… because resource control = national security.

Do you like your electricity? You need copper.

Do you like your solar panels? You need silver.

Do you like AI? You need rare earths.

Do you like electric vehicles? You need nickel and lithium.

Do you like flying? You need oil.

This isn’t rocket science… it’s mining.

BREAKING NEWS: COPPER, POTASH AND SILVER PROPOSED FOR CRITICAL STATUS BY UNITED STATES AGENCY

There you go.

“Copper and potash are among six new proposed additions to the US Geological Survey’s list of critical minerals…”

Source: https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2025-08-25/us-agency-proposes-including-copper-potash-in-critical-minerals

Something to think about… The U.S. just took a 10% equity stake in Intel all in the name of national security. If chips justify ownership… do you really think critical minerals aren’t next? China has played this game for decades. Washington is only starting to catch up.

The President of the United States says he is removing Federal Reserve Governor Lisa Cook. Boom.

With a FEDERAL RESERVE governor getting fired… Here’s when it all clicked for me on why gold matters. Alan Greenspan… former Fed Chair, once said the quiet part out loud: “The United States can pay ANY debt… because it can print money.” That’s not stability. That’s debasement.

BREAKING NEWS: THE AMERICAN IRON AND STEEL INSTITUTE HAS ASKED THE WHITE HOUSE TO INTERVENE IN A $500 MILLION DEAL THAT COULD HAND CHINA GREATER CONTROL OVER GLOBAL NICKEL RESERVES

All eyes are on elements. Finally…
