This week, the Federal Reserve meets to decide interest rates. Inflation is ticking higher, and the U.S. dollar has just hit a record low when measured in gold. Central banks now hold more gold than U.S. Treasuries in their reserves. The signal is unmistakable. Gold is no longer playing defense. It’s on the attack.
Great point by @robert_ivanhoe. In the 1970s, when energy was weaponized, it meant long lines at gas stations. When critical minerals are weaponized, it won’t just be inconvenience… the economy stalls, supply chains seize, and infrastructure begins to freeze.
Russia is likely buying SILVER right now for its reserves. This is monumental. Silver is a tiny market compared to gold, yet it’s now trading at a 14-year high. When a central bank moves into such a small, strategic metal… it is felt in a big way.

Today, more than half of the world’s strategic minerals are restricted by export bans or tight controls, whether on the raw ore or the technology used to turn it into products. Read that again. I have warned for years: These elements are the frontlines of national security.
