Dinarland Highlights – 7.21.26

I absolutely DO NOT adhere to high-risk investments where I can lose it all in a flash. Look at it this way – you are going to have all this money from your dinar exchange. Then why blow it! Most of us investors waited decades for this RV to happen and so why would you even think about p*****g it all away in some high-risk gamble of an investment… Go to a legitimate wealth manager associated with your bank. Let the licensed experts advise you…

“The Iraqi Private Banks League says recent agreements between the Central Bank of Iraq and the U.S. Treasury mark a major step in banking reform and are expected to strengthen the stability of the Iraqi dinar while expanding Iraqi banks’ access to international financial markets.”

Strengthening dinar stability + expanded international  bank access = the exact mechanics needed for a controlled upward revaluation.  We Are In A Prime Reform Phase…The Central Bank gets breathing room to defend a stronger rate without bleeding reserves, while US-backed access to global clearing rails (think SWIFT, correspondent banking, tokenized settlement channels) brings in legitimate foreign capital inflows.

That influx of investment and trade volume creates real demand for the dinar, letting the CBI gradually (or in phases) shift the peg higher without triggering chaos.  This Is The Bridge Needed To Pave The Way For Forex Entry…Which means from the old oil-dependent fragility to a diversified, market-integrated currency that can actually hold and appreciate value sustainably. The agreements remove the old choke points that kept it suppressed, and the timing with everything else converging makes the reval not just possible it becomes the logical next step to lock in the stability they’re announcing.

[Iraq boots-on-the-ground report]

OMAR: Television says our dinar [market rate] has gained 3.66% in just 17 days…that isn’t normal.  It’s really really looking good.  It’s growing fast.

FRANK: it’s so exciting to see the evidence of your currency gaining value as the American dollar is being used less and less inside of Iraq. The gap is closing. The black market is going away so you can reach the 1 to 1. I’ve been waiting for this evidence to start. It looks like it started way before July 10th…It is moving at an incredible speed.

“What is the best percent fee to exchange to accept from the bank when we exchange?”

Zero.

This past week one of the largest and most important meetings was with al-Zaidi and the US Treasury.  He met directly with Scott Bessent who runs the US Treasury.  They’re directly responsible for facilitating and helping Iraq revalue or reinstate the Iraqi dinar…When you see articles talking about the partnership between the Central Bank of Iraq, the US Treasury and how it’s directly expected to strengthen the stability of the Iraqi dinar, I don’t understand how people don’t see this…Even if you didn’t have dinar goggles on…or…not invested at all…if you can’t look at the news…and ask yourself…a country attracting this much investment from the US directly, billions and trillions of dollars worth of deals, are they able to do this with a currency worth 1/10 of a penny?

Imagine sitting at the dinner table at Thanksgiving or Christmas after the dinar revalues and those who made fun of you and those who hated on you or those who said it’s a joke or a scam are going to be sitting with their heads down, even ashamed to look up because we are going to be proven right.

An audit on the budget periods from 2012- to 2025…They’ve never done an audit of this level before in the history of this investment…They’re going to review this audit at today’s session of parliament.  Very significant towards your investment…What they’re reviewing in today’s session of parliament is very significant towards them going international…This is something they would do only if they’re really preparing to adjust their currency’s value.

So many people think delete the zeros has something to do with the rate.  It has zero to do with the rate.  The deleting the zeros means getting rid of the large 3-zeros notes and replace them with smaller currency notes.  That’s all it means.  It has zero to do with the actual exchange rate itself.  Obviously the exchange rate is going to go up, but it has nothing to do with that…A 25 note with a value of $3.00 is worth $75.  A 25k note with the same value of $3.00 against the dollar would be worth $75,000…

Article:
“Below 150,000… Dollar prices record a new decline in Baghdad and Erbil”

Quote:
“the dollar prices have decreased in the Al-Kifah and Al-Harithiya exchanges in Baghdad to record 149,600 dinars per 100 dollars, compared to yesterday, Monday, when it recorded 150,800 dinars…In Erbil, the markets recorded a similar decline, with the selling price reaching 150,050 dinars per 100 dollars, and the buying price 149,900 dinars.”

Why countries, including Iraq, want to increase the value of their currency…Why we truly think and believe Iraq will eventually increase the value of their currency – A stronger currency increases purchasing power… Companies can import machinery, technology, vehicles and raw materials at lower cost…This helps lower inflation… Imported products become less expensive…A stronger currency builds confidence among international investors…[and] encourages citizens to save more…The more money citizens save the better off a country will be

No one knows what the value of the dinar is going to be.  No one knows if they’re going to keep the zeros or drop the zeros.  That’s where the big argument is because if they drop the zeros, it’s not going to be anywhere near where people thought it was going to be.  If they keep the zeros, which is what I keep my fingers crossed for…then a lot of us become millionaires.

Look for trillions to billions.  Aki [bank friend] said to us when he came back from DC the lower notes are ready to go at a moment’s notice.

Question:
“Do you think it’s smarter to use a financial advisor that is part of the exchanging bank or find an independent which isn’t associated with a bank once this goes?”

Thom: That depends on you, your risk tolerance and also your financial education.  If I had low risk tolerance and next to zero financial education, I would stick to a bank. Private is good if it is a Fiduciary. Me personally, I have Wealth Advisors tell me I don’t need them.
