– Advancing the 2027 budget “now”, in September 2026, before the old fiscal year even ends**, means the technocrats in the CBI and the Finance Ministry have been given a green light by the political class to overhaul the monetary plumbing. You don’t advance a budget with this language unless you’re about to change the value of the currency unit itself. The exchange rate is not a line item. It’s the substrate on which every line item depends.
– The CBI’s silence is the loudest thing in the room. No statements. No denials. No “we are studying.” Just… silence. In the intelligence business, silence at this stage means the decision is already made and they’re waiting for the political window. That window is “Sovereignty Days.”
The CBI is the fuse. The budget is the bomb. The sovereignty declaration is the signal. And the entire apparatus of regional control is standing on the detonation point, insisting nothing’s wrong.
