OIL
Monday 28 Sep settle:
Brent $105.28 after a +$4 spike; 10-year ~5.27% (highest since 2007); 30-year multi-decade high; DXY near a two-month peak.
OIL UP, YIELDS UP, DOLLAR FIRM — THAT IS THE CHAIN, NOT A RESET DATE
Geopolitics is moving through energy, then bonds, then FX.
Same day, same channel.
WHAT PRINTED:
Oil — Brent jumped more than $4 intraday after Trump rejected Iran’s Hormuz reopening offer, then settled $105.28 (+0.9%). WTI settled $92.60.
Talks via Qatar are still scheduled; the strait premium did not vanish.
Treasuries — 10-year yield tagged ~5.27%, highest since June 2007. 30-year printed its highest since the mid-2000s. Five-session sell-off.
Dollar — DXY held near a two-month high (~101.2). EUR and GBP sat near multi-month lows vs USD as markets priced stickier inflation and a firmer Fed path.

THE LINK Oil → inflation expectations → policy odds → Treasury yields → capital flows → currencies.
Higher crude can keep price pressure alive. That can keep yields elevated. Higher U.S. yields pull money into dollar assets and squeeze other currencies.
FOR CURRENCY HOLDERS
FX is not a standalone tape. Energy, debt supply, rates and reserve flows all feed it. A strong dollar and high U.S. yields are real system facts. They are not a published IQD/global RV date.

Watch the transmission belt: barrels, coupons, the dollar. That is the machinery. A “reset calendar” is not.

RUMOR LOCK
Documented prices and yields ≠ guaranteed revaluation.
No official convertibility or global-reset notice.
$105 oil and a 5.2% 10-year move policy odds.
They do not print a new exchange rate.
Wait for a central-bank circular, not a chart screenshot.
