STILL ON THE ROAD
2 OCTOBER 2026

IRAQ
The Central Bank is still pushing its banking overhaul. Treasury-bill activity and staff training have both continued.

IQD
The existing monetary setup is still the one in force.
Nothing verified on an IQD RV, and no new official rate has been posted.

GLOBAL
Swift is showing cross-border payments running on today’s rails and on digital value together. Tokenised deposits and interoperability were both on the table at Sibos.

ROAD CHECK
Banking reform: IN MOTION
Currency shift: EYES ON
RV/QFS: UNCONFIRMED

RAIL WATCH
Swift’s blockchain ledger is heading toward live tokenised-deposit payments, with 17 banks lining up for the pilots.

REALITY CHECK
The payment pipes are being rebuilt. That is actual infrastructure work. It is not evidence of an IQD RV, and it is not a global reset.
