WATCH GLOBAL DEBT RESET And WHAT’S ACTUALLY HAPPENING:

The jobs number landed.

The debt bill did not.

Other cuts:
• 29,000 jobs. Wall Street blinked. The Treasury did not.
• Oil cooled. Hiring stalled. Borrowing stayed b****l.
• One weak payroll print just repriced the Fed. It did not retire the debt.

Oil eased on Friday. Hiring did not.

Brent slipped to about $101.61 and WTI to $92.02 after Thursday’s jump.

The drop is a pause, not a supply fix. Gulf risk is still in the price.

September payrolls rose 29,000 against a 90,000 forecast. Unemployment ticked up to 4.2%. July was revised to a loss of 10,000.

Markets marked down the odds of an October Fed hike.

The 10-year yield dipped on the print and is still near 5.2%.

Cheaper energy can cool inflation. Soft hiring can change the rate path.

High yields still raise the cost of rolling government debt.

Those three wires move currencies.

They do not set a revaluation date.
