ARE WE THERE YET?
IRAQ IQD
Still in the waiting room
5 October 2026
Iraq’s central bank put fresh Treasury-bill auction results on the record on 4 October.
The release covers the latest short- and medium-dated paper. That is ordinary liquidity management, not a currency event.
The same bank is still posting its usual dinar rate series — daily, monthly and annual.
What is not on the site is any formal notice of a revaluation or a redenomination.
Offshore, the Basel Committee met in late September and issued a 1 October note on risks in the global banking system, plus ongoing work on supervision, payments rails and financial technology.
Tokenised and cross-border payments stay on the BIS agenda. None of that is a confirmed reset, and none of it is an RV payout schedule.

Infrastructure is being rebuilt in public. A specific global currency reset is not.

The 4 October CBI item names auctions W527, B360 and D230, and the public summary does not spell out other maturities.
Still waiting for the CBI the auction sheet.
