Iran’s central bank listed the official dollar at 1,762,815 rials on 5 October.
That is a published official fixing, not a redenomination.
A secondary report put the figure near 1,752,815 against 1,757,542 the day before.
Use the central-bank page if the two disagree.
The free market is a different price entirely, around 2.69 million rials per dollar.
Zimbabwe’s Reserve Bank is pushing ZiG notes and coins into border towns and Matabeleland, including Beitbridge and Plumtree. Deputy Governor Innocent Matshe said the issue is access and acceptance, not a new value for the currency.

Iraq’s official site is still showing 1,310 dinars per dollar.
On 4 October the bank posted another Islamic deposit-certificate and central-bank bill auction.
A September reserve note said holdings cover trade finance, card settlement and travellers’ cash dollars at the official rate.
None of that is a revaluation notice.
Separate CBI data put reserves at $80.6 billion at end-July, down from $97.4 billion at end-2025.
No fresh official reform or redenomination turned up for the dong or the bolívar.
The euro’s drop to about $1.116, a 17-month low, is a market move tied to French fiscal stress.
It is not a central-bank reform.
Nothing yet independently verified points to an imminent RV in the dinar, dong, ZiG, rial or bolívar.
