…some are panicking while others are getting excited...if things play out the way things are shaping up…the way communications say happened last weekend…this will be a big week of structure behind bonds, historic assets etc. and a big weekend with notices for us next weekend…IF it all works out…so we have to watch things play out.

Dinar holders aren’t holding paper, they’re holding a claim ticket on the first sovereign currency revaluation of the post-fiat era, and the window between “everything lined up” and “public announcement” is measured in days, for Iraq’s cabinet completion. Not weeks.

“The 2027 draft budget adopts a rate of 150,000 dinars per 100 dollars… and the Central Bank denies fixing the rate so far”
Quote:
“Member of the Parliamentary Finance Committee, Dylan Ghafour, revealed on Monday that the draft Iraqi budget for 2027 includes adopting an exchange rate of 150,000 dinars per 100 dollars, in a move that, if approved, would represent a clear change in the rate adopted during previous years…the proposal is still within the draft budget and has not yet been voted on in the Cabinet.“

Article:
“Proposed budget revision points to planned currency devaluation.”
Well that’s not what we want. We want a revaluation not a devaluation.
Quote:
“…the approval and vote of the Council of Ministers and Parliament are required regarding setting the accounting exchange rate at 1500 IQD per US dollar…although the Ministry of Finance has thoroughly studied the matter, it does not mean this is a final decision.”
This is not actually happening. This is just a draft proposal. They are proposing moving the exchange rate to 1500 from 1310…It’s a proposal...A lot of people are missing that point.
This week potentially has the potential to be one of the biggest seeking in the dinar…

I told you all that news from Channel 8 was complete bull shit. Here you go…
Article:
“Currency spokesperson denies Dinar Devaluation Rumors Amid Market Panic”
All that news yesterday about devaluing the dinar 1500 to a buck was BS...Choose your sources wisely friends…
We have Kuwait syndrome…They tried to tell you they’ve devalued the dinar within the ’27 budget. That’s nothing more than what Kuwait did…right before they revalued their currency, lying to you, saying, ‘We have no intentions of revaluing the currency.’ Then BAM, they shortly did it.

The thing I’m concerned about now…there is talk of requiring those of us holding Iraqi dinar banknotes…to satisfy SWIF requirements. Meaning they want a track record or proof or documentation of where and how we got our IQD bank notes. Don’t get upset. All of this is just talk right now but it could develop into more than talk. That’s why a lot of people are talking about revalue because they know these things are happening behind the curtain…My recommendation… you want to develop a credible documentation on how/when you received or purchased your Iraqi dinars and from whom.
=======================================
Reset Intelligence
On Sunday night one outlet reported that Iraq’s 2027 budget values $100 at 150,000 IQD. On Monday evening the same outlet carried a currency market spokesman saying the decision will not be implemented. The two stories ran 19 hours apart...The Central Bank of Iraq is the only institution that sets the rate…Nobody with the power to change the IQD’s rate has put a name to 150,000. That is where this story stands 2 days in.

Question
“With everything happening so quickly right now do you think Iraq is able to do all of this while maintaining the 1310 dinar exchange rate?“
I’m going to disappoint a lot of people…The banks will still get involved with Iraq even at the current program rate of 1310. The banks don’t care about the rate. Their involvement is based on the ability to convert dinars to dollars. That is what the banks care about. If they put the money in, they’re concerned about getting that money out…They’re looking for stability…The rate doesn’t necessarily affect the banks.
=======================================
Omar
The cabinet is totally independent from the CBI…The CBI is the one that controls everything… When the cabinet is seated there will be no instant rate change. It’s just a part of the process…It is independent from the CBI. They can’t do anything about the rate.

I don’t want to talk no more about 1500…It’s garbage. It’s s****d. And it’s a waste of time…because that’s not what [Iraq] is going to use. End of story…Let the CBI tell you the official rate. They’re not saying 1500. That’s the end of that conversation about 1500…
