I want to take a moment to wish ALL of the Mother’s out there in the IDC FAMILY a very Happy Mother’s Day.
I would give everything in the world that I own, that I know, and every breath in me to have 1 afternoon with my Mother in person to just sit, talk, share time, laugh, cry, and to tell her how much I love her and miss her.
But as I write this through tears of joy, I am smiling knowing that she’s watching me write this and that she knows all of those things without me uttering even a word. For those who have their Mother’s in this world, let them know how much they mean to you. Let them know how grateful you are that you chose them as the gateway into this world, and that they mean much to you.
If you’re angry at your Mom, take a breath and mend those fences. When they leave, the hole in your heart is HUGE. Never miss a chance to tell them how much you love them.
Never take them for granted. You can have many Father’s in this lifetime, but thank GOD there is only one way to be birthed into this world, and that’s through ONE LOVING MOTHER.
I miss mine every day, but I know she’s in Heaven right now, looking down, smiling, sending me love, and praying for me to get whatever I am supposed to be doing in this lifetime right.
I love you Mom. I miss you, and I look forward to the day when God calls me home, and I get to see you again and we have a chance to sit down and chat. Peace be with you always.
