Once upon a time, there was talk of a new world. A world of peace and plenty for all.

For years many story tellers (gurus) got together and told of this great time. This would finally be the week when all the great blessings would appear. But every week was magically turned into a NEXT WEEK.

The story tellers and great prophets, squabbled, argued and fought over who was right for months. Though the truth was, that none of them were ever right. None of the predictions or prophesies, ever came to pass.

This great story started out as Groundhog day. It evolved into Groundhog week, then month then years. The good people of the world began to realise they were living in a never ending story of fiction, fantasy and fables. All perpetuated by the story tellers.

No one ever knew why the story tellers misled, destroyed and created great stress and anxiety for those who listened. Those who followed blindly in the slim hope that prayers would be answered.

Then one night a great darkness descended upon the earth. Suddenly, huge beans of light appeared in the sky. The light was followed by powerful lasers, striking and destroying everything in their path. Within hours the earth was a scorched, barren wasteland. The once great oceans and seas were boiling, glowing with a crimson, blood red hue.

Finally, there was an end to this epic tale and we all died, but living happily in the ever after.

A purely fictional story. Or could it be just as true as the fictional tales we’re being told week after week, month after month and year after year?
